Sefton's first female chief executive Margaret Carney discusses her new role

IN HER first public appearance Sefton Councils new chief executive talked of her thoughts on the new role. At Bootle Town Hall today Margaret Carney, was welcomed to the council by outgoing chief executive Graham Haywood. In accepting the new role she said it is not that she views herself as the first woman chief executive but as the next chief.
