The Vincent Hotel linked up with Royal Birkdale to launch The Vincent Charity Golf Day in association with The Marina Dalglish Appeal. This event will take place annually, and guests of the inaugural competition included Mark Lawrenson, Alan Hansen and Kenny Dalglish. Champions of the day were team Diagio, which included players Andy Cunliffe, Russ Jones, Ray Smith and Frank Todd The event was followed by a three course meal in world famous clubhouse at Royal Birkdale, and an auction hosted by Sean Styles in which thousands of pounds was raised for Marina Dalglish Appeal.
