A GRANDMOTHER from Formby who survived lung cancer is supporting a campaign to raise awareness of the disease.
Ann Long, 76, who was diagnosed nine years ago, is supporting Lung Cancer Awareness Month this November.
FORMBY’S reward for their midweek victory over Irlam FC in the NWCFL Challenge Cup was a second round tie against Rochdale Town. After a month of cup ties and some experimentation with team selection, Squirrel’s managers Jim Shirley and Kev Dally opted to go with more or less their strongest line-up.
