TODAY detectives are calling on the public to come forward with any information that might help them to catch these men.
They are the callous pair who held three traumatised Thomson travel agent staff at knife point as they raided the shop’s safe of about £25,000.
Since the raiders struck 12 days ago, two men have been arrested, but no further action will be taken against them, and police are continuing their hunt for the robbers.
Detective Sergeant Neil Blanchard said: “We are still investigating this matter and have released these CCTV images in the hope that it jogs the memory of the members of the public who were in and around the area of Thomson travel agents on that day.
“We remain determined to catch the offenders and we want to hear from anyone who saw any vehicles being driven in a suspicious manner around that time.”
The Formby branch of Thomson on Chapel Lane was targeted in the raid as staff closed up the shop at about 5.30pm on Friday, February 19.
The staff, two women in their late 30s and a man in his 20s, were getting ready to leave for the day when the robbers struck, forcing them to open a safe in a back office.
Wielding six to eight inch blades the robbers threatened staff, making them sit on the floor while they grabbed the cash, foreign currency and travellers cheques before escaping from the scene.
