FORMBY Junior Sports Club Under 11s won 4-0 in the derby at home to Formby FC.
James Honour, Elliot Taylor, Oliver Hall and man of the match Peter Wood scored the goals in a good team performance.
The Under-17s defeated previously unbeaten league leaders Jaguars 4-0.
There was a 3-0 victory by the Under 14s against Redgate Rovers Green but at under-10 level the Blacks lost 2-1 to Redgate.
FJSC Under-12s Blacks lost 6-1 against Southport FC with George Hannaghan scoring the solitary goal.
In the Inter Club Section the league leaders in the Year 8/9 Division Park United narrowly defeated Lighthouse Rovers 4-3 with goals from Nathan Gleig, Jake Eastwood, Rob Harrison and Matthew Smith.
Rovers’ scorers were Matthew Frackelton, Paul Nodwell and James Dillon O’Neill. Second placed Freshfield Colts (Morgan Palmeria and Joe Maybury two each and Matthew Monaghan and Ben Aitchison one apiece) won 6-2 in the match with Royal Albion (Daniel O’Toole and Tom Wilkinson).
The Yellows (Mukund Bulley two, Ben Hughes, Aksher Bulley, Oliver Scrivens and Pedro Gomes) lost 6-7 to the Reds (Conor McKinnon and Liam Robinson two each and Matthew Fraser, Alex Ingman and Michael Dixon) in the Year 6/7 age group.
In the Year 5 Division the Greens (Dean Shepherd two, Josh Steele and Ben Rich one each) drew 4-4 with the Reds (Caden Clark two, Josh Wilson and Cameron Colbourne).
The Purples ran out 8-4 winners against the Blues with Zak Eastwood scoring a hat-trick. Also on target for the Purples were Fintan Meehan two and with a goal each from William Griffin, Michael Hughes and Bryn Macy.
Max Edwards scored a brace and Max Ledson and Sean Jones were also on the score sheet with a goal each in reply for the Blues.
