Sheley James sings more wonderful 40s favourites from the likes of Gracie Fields, Anne Shelton and Vera Lynn, while Tony Leyton returns with the unforgettable songs of Bing Crosby.
Ace musical entertainer Andy Eastwood, Britain’s leading ukulele virtuoso performs the songs of George Formby, as well as some supreme violin swing in a tribute to Stephane Grappelli. Andy has just completed another tour as guest star with the Ken Dodd show, to standing ovations. Entertainer Mervyn Francis, the show’s host, will also perform Al Jolson hits.
With the fabulous music of The Martyn St James Sound, here is an afternoon show filled with fun and damp-eyed nostalgia, guaranteed to leave you with a warm and sentimental glow, fondly remembering the days when the spirit of Britain was at its highest, and an era to be proud of.
